A big thank you to all who turned out at Choppington on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far. Up until the Friday evening we deliberated as to whether the event would be able to go ahead. I believe we made the right call and with the sun shining in places made for some excellent running and in one case skiing. Jeremy spent many hours updating and extending the map although much of this couldn't be seen due to the snow cover. Some great courses utilising all areas of the map meant that the longer courses got to the extremities of the map. It is not that often we get to orienteer in conditions like today and I hope you all enjoyed the day as much as I did.
