It was great to see a good turnout for a Wednesday Evening Score event on what was a lovely summer North East Evening.
Not wanting to use the Town Moor area beyond Exhibition park I decided to use Exhibition Park Brandling and then utilise the street of Jesmond the civic centre and the university area. In truth it was probably a bit short for the experienced runners but gave people a chance to collect all the controls with the Juniors especially doing well to collect as many as they did. It was very interesting at the end to see the different route choices that people had made. It would appear that nobody actually went the same way and all had different variations at some points around the courses.
Unfortunately we can't put the map on route gadget as we need SI to do that but it would have been great to have shared the routes that you all took. *If anyone would care to mail (via the web contact page) the order of taking the controls, this can be shared.*
My thanks go to Joshua who not only had a day of sport at school also completed his run and then collected all the controls in. Thanks Josh.
