Planner‘s comments
Thanks to everyone for turning up on such a glorious day. Mind you spending it at the beach was a good plan!
Most people enjoyed the challenge of finding controls as you went. Something out of the ordinary to end the series – at least the times reflect people are well in tune with the score event now. The young beanpole proves it is a fast area once you can get in tune with the contours (2.5m) and the vegetation although time has come for a remap of that.
Those without a handicap score in the results are people who had not been to enough events to “earn” a bonus.
Congratulations to Willard Wright and Nicola Tilt who are the winners of the series and to John Phizacklea who wins the handicap. Prize giving will be part of the club’s first annual dinner and awards ceremony on 11th October.
